Helen O'Grady Drama programme encourages your child to develop self-confidence, communication and language skills. We have classes for different age groups: Kindy 3-5 years, Lower Primary 6-8 years, Upper Primary 9-12 years. Classes consist of dramatic plays, speech training, creative movement, language development, songs and storytelling for the little ones.

We offer the children an active day with the holiday theme. You can join either for the whole day or choose the activities you are interested in.

Our actors perform in television!

Two of the Aardvark Casting's children perform in Danone Yoghurt TV advertisement! See it on Rotana channel!

Our actors Mohammed Elba 4 years and Youssef Tarek 8 years were selected to perform in the Danone yoghurt advertisement. The advertisement is about children and yoghurt, so in the shooting the boys were interviewed about when and who eats yoghurt in their family and which kind is it. The advertisement was casted and shot in Cairo and and it was a very nice experience for all. You can see the boys in TV starting on the 15th of November on Rotana TV channel among others.

Circus Capers-Heliopolis

Our Heliopolis students had a wonderful end of year performance last week!

They performed a play called Circus Capers which was such a colorful and funny play to watch along with great, young actors on stage!

KINDY PROGRAMME

Our new programme for ages 3-5 is running in various nurseries around Cairo.
Every term, the curriculum is divided into themes. Within each
theme, children will experience props, costumes or craft material connected to
the topic.

During the last 3 lessons we introduced the jungle theme and discussed the animals and creatures we may find in the jungle. Everyone was given a picture of a jungle animal or creature to take home and colour in. Wonderful work from all the students!

Teachers in action!

Three of our current drama teachers participated in the production workshop last week.

While the workshop included sound & light, props and dancing practise for the end of year performances, the teachers had also a great chance to share their own creative ideas.

The end of year performances are going to be running during the month of June 2011.
